When you want to live center city, space is at a premium. Until we started out family, we lived in about 400 square feet in the center of Barcelona. It was enough space for a home office, bedroom, kitchen, and even a bathroom with a tub and a small washing machine. What youll need:
•Grubbler
•A plastic or glass bottle (2 liter works best) with no cap and the bottom cut off approximately the length of
•Bucket of water (small bathroom trashcan size seems to work best)
Step 1: Place bottle in bucket
Step 2: Fill grubbler with water and connect to top of bottle by inserting the grommet section into top and press down while giving a slight turn to tighten
Step 3: Fill the grubbler can push with tobacco or other plant matter
Step 4: tightly place thumb over mouth piece opening
Step 5: light the tobacco while you start to very slowly pull up on the grubbler (The bottle will come up with, if correctly attached. You may want to test this ahead of time.) The grubbler will begin to percolate and the flame will be pulled down into the tobacco. The bottle will begin to fill with smoke. The smoker is able to fill the bottle as little or as much as they like.
Step 6: when the bottle is filled to the correct amount uncover the mouth piece and
Option 1: place mouth on opening, begin to inhale, allow the grubbler/bottle to be pulled down back into the bucket
Option 2 (pressure hit): tightly place mouth on opening, place thumb tightly over the push of the can. Press down with mouth and hand until you feel the pressure build. Quickly inhale while continuing to push down on the grubbler. Itll be over fast!
Step 7: ENJOY!
(Step 8: if there is plant matter left in the can, repeat steps 4-6)

We might graduate to the bigger bathroom at some point. But for now, enjoy a quick spin around the small but nicely adorned current “studio” and listen to the smooth sounds of my version of The Old Apartment by Barenaked Ladies.
I have not given fair representation to Ed yet by singing two of Steve’s songs (at least ones that Steve sings, I don’t know who wrote them…), so I’ll see if I can dig up an Ed cover for next time…

New tile floor in place.. looks great!
extras we didn’t plan on… the floor under the toilet.. which was replaced 5 yrs ago – needed replacing again. Plumber also installed new shut off valves for the sink lines. He bought some new lines to go from the faucet to the the shut off lines.. but they leaked for some reason.. so he then replaced the old faucet with a new one (all new lines).. no more leaks.
sorry, didn’t get a “before” video.
