The place has pale yellow bathroom fixtures in pale yellow and god awful Gold ornate stripes and patterns from the late 1960′s to mid 70′s) Yep, its that bad!

I am inclined to a soft blue grey with cream wainscotting below it. Can anyone please give me ideas or links to something along that line? I want to get some ideas to refine it a bit more.

We are on a very tight budget and need to do this rock bottom as possible, but pleasing to the sight as well?

I’d get a plain white – or cream colored – vinyl shower curtain-liner
and make the exposed curtain from material I chose to match.

I like the soft blue grey idea. My bathroom is a slightly purplish hued blue
with a nautical theme (having lived somewhere near oceans most
of my adult life, and being so fond of it).
