How do you take out a bathroom sink and counter without destroying it?

I have a small sink with counter and cabinet that I want to remove from my bathroom but I’m giving it to someone else. There are only a couple of screws that I see holding it to the wall. What it the best way to remove it without ruining it?

Usually, the only firm attachment (once you remove the plumbing) is the screws you see. It’s pretty much held down by it’s own weight. However, there’s probably caulk where it meets the wall and floors. You’ll need to use a utility knife and perhaps some careful prying to break that bond.

Pedestal sinks are real space savers in small spaces such as half baths. With that small footprint can come a real headache when repairing leaks in the drain. This video shows how to repair a leak in the plumbing drain for a pedestal sink. The metal trap was replaced with a plastic one which was easier to tighten and seal.
